Taking place in Helsinki on 2-5 September 2021, Performing HEL will present some of the most interesting elements of Finnish performing arts that are suitable for international audiences and touring.

A total of 4–6 full-length performances, 6 demo performances, and 10 pitches will be selected for the program. Some of the performances will be selected from the domestic program of the Helsinki Festival 2021 and/or from Performing HEL partners’ domestic program. Dance, circus and theatre artists and companies who live, work and/or get funding from Finland are eligible to apply.

The application period ends on the 14th of December 2020 at 17.00 (UTC+2), with the jury aiming to have made its selections for the program in January-February 2021. The program will be published in March 2021.
